What makes Stonewell different

Screened & Trained Aides

Every Stonewell aide is background-checked, trained in senior care standards, and matched carefully to each family's situation before a first visit.

Continuity of Care

Seniors flourish with familiar faces. We prioritize consistent caregiver assignments so trust can develop naturally over time.

Dignified Home-Based Support

Remaining at home—in familiar surroundings—supports emotional wellbeing. We bring professional care directly into the environment seniors know best.

Family-Centered Communication

We keep families informed and involved. Care plans are built with you, not handed to you—and updated as your loved one's needs evolve.

Flexible Scheduling

From a few visits weekly to full-day daily presence—our plans adapt to your family's lifestyle, budget, and the actual hours of support needed.

Local Taoyuan Knowledge

Our team is rooted in Taoyuan, familiar with local healthcare resources, and ready to assist with accompanying seniors to nearby appointments when needed.

Taking the first step

Is it time to explore some extra support at home?

There's no obligation in a first conversation. Our team will listen, answer your questions honestly, and help you understand which level of care—if any—makes sense right now.

Things families often ask us

How do you select and vet your caregivers? +

Every Stonewell aide completes a thorough background check, reference verification, and in-person interview before joining our team. They receive hands-on orientation in senior care, personal hygiene assistance, and safety protocols. We also carefully consider personality fit when matching aides to families—because the relationship matters as much as the skill.

Can we start with a lower level of service and increase it later? +

Absolutely. Many families begin with morning and evening visits, then transition to fuller support as needs change. We review care plans periodically and welcome adjustments at any time. You're not locked into any one arrangement.

What if my parent is hesitant about having someone in the home? +

This is one of the most common concerns families raise, and it's completely understandable. We take introductions slowly—often starting with a brief, low-key meeting before any care begins. Our aides are practiced in building trust quietly, without imposing. Many seniors who were initially reluctant come to genuinely appreciate the companionship.

Will the same person come each time? +

We make every effort to maintain the same caregiver consistently. For our full-day plan in particular, consistent assignment is a core feature. In occasional circumstances—illness, leave—we provide a backup aide and introduce them in advance whenever possible.

Is home care in Taiwan covered by National Health Insurance? +

Taiwan's Long-Term Care 2.0 program (長照2.0) offers subsidies for eligible seniors. We're happy to help families understand what support they may qualify for and how our services can complement any subsidized hours. Please reach out and we'll walk you through the options.

How quickly can care begin once we decide to proceed? +

In most cases, we can arrange an initial visit within a few days of your first consultation. Urgent situations are handled with priority. We don't rush the matching process, but we don't make families wait unnecessarily either.
