Our Story
Built around the people
we care for.
Stonewell was founded in Taoyuan with a clear purpose: to make it possible for older adults to remain at home, safely and with dignity, for as long as they wish.
Back to HomeWho We Are
A decade of quiet, consistent work in Taoyuan homes
Stonewell began in 2014 when our founder, having experienced firsthand the difficulty of coordinating care for an aging parent, set out to build something better than what was available—something personal, reliable, and genuinely respectful of older adults' autonomy.
Over the years, the team has grown carefully and deliberately. We've never expanded faster than we can maintain quality, and we've never treated care as something to industrialize. Each family we work with receives the kind of attention you'd want for your own parents.
We serve families throughout Taoyuan District and surrounding areas, with a particular depth of experience supporting seniors living independently in established neighborhoods across the city.
Our Mission
To help older adults live well in the homes they know, supported by people they trust—and to give their families genuine peace of mind.
Our Approach
We match carefully, communicate openly, and adjust continuously. Care is not a set-and-forget arrangement—it's a living relationship.
Our Values
Dignity, consistency, honesty, and humility. We know that welcoming a stranger into a home takes trust—and we take that trust seriously every day.
The People Behind It

How We Work
Quality and safety in every household
These aren't policies for appearance—they're the practical standards our team maintains every day, in every home we enter.
Background Verification
Every aide completes criminal background checks, personal reference reviews, and identity verification before working with any client.
Certified Training
All caregivers receive structured orientation covering personal care techniques, fall prevention, medication reminders, emergency response, and communication with families.
Periodic Plan Reviews
Care plans are reviewed at regular intervals and updated whenever a senior's needs, preferences, or health circumstances change.
Privacy & Discretion
All staff operate under strict confidentiality agreements. Information about clients and their households is never shared outside the care team without explicit consent.
Open Family Communication
Families can reach our coordination team directly during office hours and receive prompt updates on any changes in their loved one's daily situation.
Compliance with Long-Term Care 2.0
Stonewell operates in alignment with Taiwan's é•·ç…§2.0 framework and supports families in navigating eligible government subsidies where applicable.
In-home senior assistance in Taoyuan
Stonewell focuses entirely on home-based support for older adults—meaning every member of our team, every process we follow, and every decision we make is shaped by one specific context: a senior's home. That focus matters. It means our aides know how to move quietly through a household without disrupting established routines, how to work around personal preferences, and how to support independence rather than replace it.
Taoyuan's population includes a significant and growing proportion of adults aged 65 and over, many of whom live independently in apartments and houses throughout the city's established districts. These individuals often need some degree of daily support—but not institutional care. Stonewell occupies exactly that space: professional, reliable assistance that keeps home life functioning well.
Families working with us typically describe the same experience: initial uncertainty, followed by genuine relief once a rhythm is established. That transition from uncertainty to comfort is what we've spent a decade learning how to facilitate well.
